Dave once had an extensive dvd collection consisting of every Arnie film ever made, plus an odd little film called Music and Lyrics, that he doesn't remember buying or having bought for him. It stars a 47 year old Hugh Grant, getting off with a 31 year old Drew Barrymore. They both sing songs in it. It also 'stars' Everybody Loves Raymond's brother and Sally from Third Rock From The Sun. The acting is some of the worst you'll see, the deaths are laughably over the top (and largely avoidable) and the twist is one of the most infamous horror movie endings of all time, for all the wrong reasons. #155: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Get ready to have nightmares about freakishly flappy turtle mouths as we look back on an obnoxious, cash-in, nostalgia inducing, wonder of a film, that launched the career of a young Sam Rockwell. The dialogue is overwhelmingly 90s, the soundtrack is weirdly 80s, the fight scenes are surprisingly good but all-in-all, it's a film where none of the main characters ever need to interact with one-another. The year is 2016. Britain has voted to leave the EU. Game of Thrones and Fleabag are on the tele. The two hottest, Hollywood stars in the world right now are Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence. Fresh off his stand-out performance in Guardians of The Galaxy, studio execs decide it would be cheaper to also film Pratt's next film in space, rather than pay to come back to Earth. That's how this film came along. A film with an interesting central premise on paper. A film with beautiful set design and outstanding supporting cast. A film that really pushed the limits of how likeable Chris Pratt was. A strange little, problematic blip, in the otherwise unstoppable careers of it's main stars.
