When aggressive, deadly spiders inadvertently make their way to small town America, it's up to the new doctor, an enthusiastic exterminator and a little bitch science man to team up and squash some bugs. Featuring one of the greatest fully grown, human man vs. Spider fights ever committed to camera (where said man resorts to molotov cocktails and flaming bolt guns), the tongue is firmly in cheek throughout. If you weren't scared of hairy, eight legged, million eyes, mandible wielding creatures that can enter your house at will before hand, you certainly will be after the Wreckfast Club presents: Arachnophobia!

#81 - IT:Chapter One

Want a highly questionable coming of age drama disguised as a horror film about an immortal, inter-planar clown? Want all the hallmarks of a Stephen King novel, like horror in the mundane, external demons representing internal ones and an unhealthy obsession with genitalia? Or just want to spook yourself silly this Halloween? Whatever you're after, this film has got IT. Kids get eaten, witty dialogue is traded, many of the more questionable acts from the book get inexplicably left out. It's one of the films that took horror to a new level and then the sequel kind of took it back down again, but we're not worried about that because today, the Wreckfast Club presents: IT - Chapter One

It's got fighter jets, it's got nukes, it's got spaceships, it's got a guy with a weirdly gravely voice, they explode the god-damn Whitehouse people! Is it the greatest film ever made? Demonstrably not. Is it a fun-filled, action-packed romp through 90s nostalgia? You bet your sweet buttocks it is. Carrying on the Bond-nanza feature content, the Wreckast Club thought to themselves, "What's the best part of any bond film?" Answer? The song, of course. And so in true, privileged, podcasts fashion we thought, we can do that and set to creating our own Bond songs. But which one is better? 'No, time to change' or 'Problematic super spy'. This ad-libbed, all-star, comedy spookfest is one of the most universally loved films of all time and made us all want to wear overalls and play with nuclear devices. Get ready for ghouls, ghasts and great big marshmallows, as this week the Wreckfast Club presents: Ghostbusters!

It's time to get footloose and fancy free to the movie that made Kevin Bacon a household name and started what seems like a lifelong career of hawking EE phone plans. In a world where dancing is outlawed, only outlaws have dance (or something like that). It's a film about sticking it to the man in the most wholesome way imaginable, because nothing says effective teenage rebellion like boogying to 'Let's hear it for the boy' by Deniece Williams. Get ready for overzealous religious laws, overly tight pants and over the top emotional dances in empty flour mills as this week the Wreckfast Club presents: Footloose!
