Get ready to fight hordes of zombies whilst innapropriately dressed and doing slow motion kung-fu. We talk odd story choices, method acting extras and what we'd do in the case of a zombie apocalypse, all while Mossy grows increasingly irate at this film that desecrated everything he loved about the game franchise. Long before anyone had uttered the phrase, 'gritty realism', Batman fans were making do with the fantastical, gothic world of Tim Burton. A world where supervillains could only get their powers from animals. Where Batman's 'no kill' rule didn't extend to using his car engine as a flamethrower at point blank range. A world that gave cinemagoers the maximum amount of Shrek they would see on a screen until Shrek 1. Abandoned babies, defenestrations, giant rubber ducks and some of the worst dialogue ever committed to film, it's the Batman film whose influence can still be felt now. Prepare to don the cowel and strike fear into the hearts of criminals, as long as they're not to the side of, or behind you, as today, the Wreckfast Club presents: Batman Returns

I am a real American! Except, I'm not. In this film, I'm an alien space marine forced to take a sabbatical on Earth where I stay with a cuck doc Brown and his wife. That quickly summarises Hulk Hogan's role in today's episode which is a mad, fish out of water story that sees the hulkster learn to walk like a human, skateboard like a human and even dress like a human (despite his predilection for ripping shirts off). We hear about how he punches mimes, combs his moustache over his head to disguise himself as a human woman and big legs a spaceship right out of space. What's better is, today Dave and Mossy get to sit back and enjoy a drink while comedian and podcaster Mike Yanek tells the story. We're back baby! Menacing some phantoms in part two of our drunken retelling of the Phantom Menace. You've waited a whole week for this. We left the story with one of the jedis having just won a young boy via gambling. In part two we finally meet the sinister Darth Maul on his weird, little chav scooter, there's wars on planets, there's wars in the stars, there's lightsabers and a weird room of force fields. The second half really contains a lot of the excitement, let's be honest, so without further ado, let's finish the story that's the start of a story that was told in the past but is set in the future, even though, as we've already established, this was all a long time ago.... this week, the Wreckfast Club presents: Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (Episode I) - Part 2!

Finally, a Star Wars film that doesn't shy away from the sexier side of war. To all those kids who watched the first trilogy and thought, "Sure, lightsabers are cool, but I really want to deep dive into the politics of the Star Wars universe. How would things like trade sanctions, planetary blockades, senate meetings and diplomatic negotiations work? I imagine exactly like they do on Earth but just on a space ship, but I'd love to see that played out over the course of two hours." Then this film's for you. It's got negotiations, it's got slaves, it's got Brian Blessed. It does also have pod racing which is sick but then it has Jar Jar Binks so, swings and roundabouts. Is it as bad as the people of the early naughties made out? Yes. Cars. Guns. Spies. Rammstein! This films got it all in spade loads. Prepare to hear a story of Vin Diesel shouting his way through overly load club scenes with baddies who are very difficult to pin down geographically. There's some of the worst kissing ever committed to camera, there's some of the most egregious explosions and insane cameos from Tony Hawk, Rammstein and Machete himself. The a tings terrible and the plot doesn't matter, so of course it's an extra long episode today as the Wreckfast Club presents: xXx
