#90 - Deck the Halls

It's a film that Broderick described as his low point even though it came AFTER Inspector Gadget and that only has a score of 6% on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the third worst reviewed Christmas film. Based on the flimsy premise that a guy wants his house to be visible from space (something satellites could already do), what follows is a series of wildly escalating set pieces that have no consequences or bearing on the 'plot'. Broderick shouts 'who's your daddy?' at his own, underage daughter. Devito sells his wife's priceless heirloom to buy more Christmas lights. Broderick buys missiles and fires them directly at Devito's house. There's also some very questionable language and 'plot' points for 2006, a speed skating scene that supposedly Broderick had to train for months for AND a weird fixation on boners. God bless them, every one. Prepare yourselves for one of the weirdest, most mean spirited Christmas films you'll ever hear, where it's impossible to decide who to root for because everyone's an asshole, as this Christmas, the Wreckfast Club presents: Deck the Halls
